Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since 1966, when designers at Letraset and James Mosley, the librarian at St Bride Printing Library in London, took a 1914 Cicero translation and scrambled it to make dummy text for Letraset’s Body Type sheets. It has survived not only many decades, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised thanks to these sheets and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker and Microsoft Word including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Challenge
An industry leading professional membership and accreditation body in the energy sector successfully built a globally recognised set of career-essential qualifications for engineers and operators working in high-risk settings. Due to the rapid growth of the qualifications, and the number of member organisations that were approved to deliver the subsequent exams, invigilation standards had been neglected with instructors often invigilating their own candidates exam submissions.
In addition to introducing a new, independent invigilation service, our client needed our help to standardise all of the invigilation processes across more than 100 venues around the world. They also required our support in managing the expectations of around 50,000 candidates per year.
The Solution
VICTVS trained and selected professional invigilators across multiple regions – all of whom are independent of the awarding organisation and their member training locations. We introduced an entirely new programme of exam invigilation, and effectively communicated these changes to all stakeholders.
